College Prep

Preparing students for whatever God calls them to.

At CWC, we get students ready for their God-given calling by providing strong academic preparation, personalized support, and meaningful opportunities for college credit and advanced learning.

Faith-Aligned Pathways

Advanced Placement (AP) Opportunities

As a smaller school, we take a personalized approach to Advanced Placement (AP) and advanced academic opportunities. While we offer a limited number of AP courses through our current faculty, we also work closely with students and families to create flexible opportunities for advanced learning and AP test preparation based on individual interests and abilities.

Because our teachers get to know their students well, we are able to thoughtfully support students who are ready for additional academic challenge through:

  • Independent study opportunities
  • Guided AP test preparation
  • Personalized academic planning

Teachers, parents, students, and school leadership work together to determine the best fit for each student’s academic growth and future plans. This individualized approach allows students to pursue advanced learning opportunities in ways that are both challenging and supportive.

Dual Credit Opportunities

Our approach to dual credit opportunities for our students is similar to the way we approach Advanced Placement opportunities. We work closely with students and their parents to help find college-level courses that fit each student’s interests, abilities, and future goals.

In addition to offering several dual credit courses through Moraine Park Technical College—primarily connected to our Ag/Pro/Tech programs—we also help students explore online dual credit opportunities through local colleges and universities.

CWC provides flexibility within the school day for students participating in approved dual credit courses while helping students continue growing academically in ways that best fit their individual needs and goals.

Whenever possible, we seek partnerships with faith-based institutions that align with the mission and values of CWC, including:

We prepare students to glorify God and serve in His world, no matter what they are called to do.
