Faith Development
Growing in Faith at Every Stage
Students grow and engage with faith differently at each stage of development. At CWC, we intentionally walk alongside students as they mature spiritually, emotionally, and academically.

Early Childhood & Elementary
Younger students begin building foundational habits of faith through:
- Daily prayer and devotions
- Bible stories and Scripture memory
- Worship and singing
- Wonder, curiosity, and learning about God’s world
- Conversations about kindness, grace, and serving others

Middle School
Middle school students are encouraged to ask questions, build relationships, and begin taking ownership of their faith through:
- Chapel and Connection Groups
- Faith-centered discussions
- Mentorship from teachers and staff
- Opportunities for service, leadership, and spiritual growth

High School
High school students are challenged to deepen their faith and consider how they will live it out beyond graduation through:
- Weekly chapel and worship
- Spiritual Emphasis Days and retreats
- Connection Groups and mentorship
- Conversations about vocation, leadership, service, and purpose
- Opportunities to apply faith in academics, athletics, arts, and community life
“It is important to us that our kids learn that God is present in EVERY aspect of life. He is not limited to Sundays, church or religion class. Education at CWC is not just facts and figures through a Christian worldview, it is how to problem solve, it is how to cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus and it is how to live in this world differently because Christ died for our sins. Our kids have come home from school praying differently, more conversational and personal; asking if they can accept Christ in their hearts; and reading their devotions and Bible on their own, unprompted from us.”

Preparing Students for a Life of Faith
Our desire is not simply for students to learn about faith while they are at CWC, but for them to develop a lifelong faith that shapes how they live, serve, lead, and engage with the world around them.
