Sara Westra

Aaron and Sara Westra live in Waupun with their children Nora and Max where they attend Edgewood Community Church. Sara was born and raised in Fond du Lac and graduated from L.P. Goodrich in 1996. She is currently a Registered Nurse with UW Health East Madison Hospital, Emergency Department. Sara has served as PIA president and New Family committee chair and has enjoyed volunteering at CWC as a volleyball coach and in the lunchroom. She also is active in the community as a GEMS counselor and a Greenhouse volunteer at Edgewood.

“As a parent at CWC, I value the relationships that are formed between our students, staff and families. Seeing God being sought after and honored in the classrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, and gatherings outside of the school walls is amazing. ‘Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them’ (Matthew 18:20). Christian education is important to our family as we messily try to raise our kids to know, love and follow God. We all need the help of our fellow Christians to raise up this generation to serve Him faithfully-’we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done’ (Psalm 78:4)” I look forward to serving on the board and upholding the mission "To help kids glorify God and serve in His world".
