Stewards of God’s Creation. Leaders in Agriculture.

ABOUT AG CLUB

Open to all high school students, Ag Club’s mission is to be stewards of God’s creation; exploring agriculture as a career, celebrating agriculture as part of our local economy, and educating others on the role agriculture plays in the world.

Ag Club at CWC gives students opportunities to explore agriculture through hands-on experiences, community events, tours, and real-world learning opportunities.

FOOD FOR AMERICA

One of Ag Club’s most unique outreach opportunities is Food For America, where fourth grade students visit a local dairy farm to learn about agriculture firsthand. Throughout the year, each class is assigned a calf and receives updates before eventually meeting the animal during the spring field trip. Ag Club students help lead stations and activities where younger students learn about:

  • Dairy farming
  • Farm equipment
  • Animal care
  • Veterinary science
  • Food production and nutrition

This event helps students connect agriculture, education, and community in meaningful ways.

ROOTED IN COMMUNITY

Ag Club reflects the strong connection between CWC and the agriculture community surrounding it. Through service, leadership, education, and hands-on learning, students are encouraged to explore how they can use their gifts, interests, and future careers to glorify God and serve others

Ag Club is open to all high school students at CWC who are curious about agriculture and want to make and impact.
